Our History
Bob Brown, Vice President of All Seasons Grounds Management, Inc., started working in the horticulture business at the age of ten on his father’s holly tree farm. He rapidly rose through the ranks and eventually became the head of maintenance.
Bob continued to pursue his passion through a one year course in Horticulture at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens School. He furthered his education and earned a four year degree in Landscape Architecture at the College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, N.Y. Upon graduating he was employed at the Onondaga County Parks Department as a designer.
Elizabeth Pyle Brown, President of All Seasons, is Bob’s partner in the business. Her credentials include a degree from Colby-Sawyer College, a Certificate in Garden Design from the Royal Botanic Gardens, KEW in London and assorted horticulture courses from Virginia Tech. Both Bob and Betsy are certified Nurserymen.
In 1979 Bob and Betsy relocated their family to Hampton Roads. In 1980 they started All Seasons and this family business has grown in size and reputation steadily over the last 27 years.
